Zimbabwean Terrence Musekiwa (b. 1990) will represent Zimbabwe at the 59th Venice Biennale. Also in 2022, he will be included in the Dakar Biennale, and will mount his third solo with Catinca Tabacaru in Bucharest.
Nigerian-American Chioma Ebinama (b. 1988) recently opened her second solo exhibition with the Gallery in our new Bucharest-based space. This September, she will mount a solo show with Maureen Paley in London, and will contribute works to the Musée d'Art Contemporain de la Haute-Vienne in France. In early 2022, watch out for her second solo exhibition with Fortnight Institute in NYC.
Zimbabwean Admire Kamudzengerere (b. 1981) represented Zimbabwe in the 57th Venice Biennial, and was also included in past editions of the Cairo, Bamako, Dakar, and Moscow Biennales. His work makes part of the permanent collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Block Museum, and the National Gallery of Zimbabwe. This month, he is mounting a solo exhibition at Bubble'n'Squeak in Brussels, and in the Fall, we will organize his third solo with the Gallery in Bucharest.
