Young Artists Thrive at the Contemporary Art Evening Auction

Collectors from around the world gathered in London for Sotheby's Frieze Week Evening auctions, in which a new generation of artists and collectors took centre stage on the international art market. There was a frenzy of bidding as a group of young artists opened the sale. One artist after another soared past their pre-sale high estimates with records set for Alex Hubbard, Christopher Wool and Dadamaino, bringing the total for the evening to £36.54 million.
